SPRINKLE EXPLOSION HALLOWEEN BARK

GUYS! IT’S HERE! That thing I never even told you was coming! Sprinkle Explosion Unicorn Bark’s Halloween friend, SPRINKLE EXPLOSION HALLOWEEN BARK.

Like for the unicorn bark, these adorable sprinkles are from Sweetopolita. You could use regular sprinkles for this, but it won’t be nearly as fun. Yes, Sweetopolita is the place that I may or may not have purchased two-pound bags of sprinkles. Maybe it is time to create a SPRINKLE EXPLOSION blog series, just like the “I bought a box of brownie mix at Costco and now I have to use it all” series.

Halloween candy + Halloween sprinkles. The Halloween version of Sprinkle Explosion Unicorn Bark is here! It's all your Halloween bark dreams come true.

For the Halloween Bark, I used a bag of mini Hershey bars, melted it, poured it, ate some of it, remembered the Kit Kats, ate one of them, remembered they were for the bark, and then covered the whole thing with a mess of sprinkles. Seriously, the hardest part of this was not eating all the mini Kit Kats while unwrapping them. Even more so because it was 4 am on a Saturday, and I WAS UP AT 4 AM ON A SATURDAY. I should have eaten all the Kit Kats, with coffee.

DIRECTIONS FOR SPRINKLE EXPLOSION HALLOWEEN BARK

  1. Unwrap and break up the chocolate bars. Put them in a bowl, reserving a small amount.
  2. Slowly melt them in the microwave. Once melted, add the reserved chocolate and stir until melted.
  3. Pour chocolate on a baking pan covered with parchment or a Silpat. Spread chocolate out until you have a layer that is about 1/4 inch thick.
  4. Place Kit Kats on chocolate, pressing down gently, then cover with sprinkles.
  5. Put in freezer for 10 minutes. Once bark has hardened, break into pieces and try not to eat it all in one sitting while listening to the best Halloween song ever created.

xx
