Guys, I can’t stop painting crystals. And agates. Although I did do this a few days ago, and Andrew has convinced me to do a whole series of all the moons in our solar system. Then he started naming off moons and telling me to google them and things got pretty nerdy. When we first met, he had to make sure he checked the NASA Photo of the Day website. Every. Single. Day. Although, you may not know he is a huge nerd at first, but people also think he is super quiet and doesn’t talk a lot. Boy, are they wrong.
Thankfully, he doesn’t mind me talking about him on here. At least I think he doesn’t. I’ve never actually asked him. I do know that he’s not like Julie’s husband, Eric, in Julie & Julia. I love that movie just to watch Meryl Streep and Stanley Tucci and Jane Lynch, but the Julie parts are SO ANNOYING. I remember coming across her blog while she was actively doing the project, and I thought it was a fun idea. Blogging + Julia Childs + food, what’s not to like? OMG and don’t even get me started on the book. I’ve tried reading it so many times, but can only get 1/4 of the way in because Julie is so much more annoying in the book.
It makes me sad inside.
Do you know what doesn’t make me sad inside? Coffee.
You totally thought I was going to say crystals there as my super obvious segue into the actual topic of this blog, didn’t you? HA! I’m trying to be more subtle with my transitions, but since I’m pretending you brought up, let’s talk about crystals!
I did this watercolor, and it’s (Freebie) Friday, it looks cool as an iPhone background, and I haven’t finished editing the images for the post that I was supposed to post today.
That makes me think of the King of the Hill episode where Peggy, Nancy, and Mihn are running for a spot on the school board and Mihn makes a campaign sign that says, “Mihn to Win” and Peggy says she doesn’t get it, and Mihn responds, “What’s not to get? My name is Mihn. I wanna win.”
