I’m a bit of a math nerd. Like, does calculus for fun level math nerd. I also love glitter and garlands, so you can probably guess where this is going. GLITTER OCTAHEDRON GARLAND.
I swear I don’t pick projects by pulling random words out of a bowl. Except now I’m totally going to do that and see what happens.
This Glitter Octahedron Garland is super easy to make. All you have to do is download a template, print it on cool paper, and assemble.
I feel like I should warn you though, don’t try and put the octahedron’s together and then add glitter unless you are just giving them a glitter accent wall. I tried it. It was a disaster, and now when I do laundry, clothes are still coming out of the wash with glitter on them.
Plan two was using those super fancy sheets of glitter cardstock that you find at the craft store. The kind that takes up an entire aisle full of shelves and you kind of want to never look at the paper again after being there until you turn around and see more pretty papers. Or maybe that is just me.
Usually, you can get the cardstock in letter-sized or 12×12. I had 12×12 already so I cut it down to 6 4×6″ sheets and put them through the printer. You may consider doing a test run on one sheet before you print them all, but setting your paper type as photo paper should work just fine.
